Tanzania will look to take over the group C lead when it faces Morocco in the World Cup 2014 qualifiers on Saturday.

Tanzania currently sits in second place in Group C with six points in three matches. The winner of the group moves on to the third round of qualifiers to take on another group winner. A two-legged playoff will decide which team heads to Brazil next summer. The Taifa Stars have never qualified for the World Cup and are hoping to put together a solid run to prolong their hopes of appearing in Brazil. The team opened its tournament with a 2-0 loss to the Ivory Coast. However, it bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Gambia and a 3-1 win over Morocco. If Ivory Coast loses or draws with Gambia in its qualifier on Saturday, then a victory for Tanzania would catapult the club to the top spot in the group.

Morocco currently sits in third place in the Group C standings with only two points in three games. The team is looking to return to the World Cup finals for the first time since 1998 in France. Morocco has never placed better than 11th in the tournament; that happened during the 1986 tournament in Italy. In its two most recent appearances, Morocco failed to get out of the group stage.

The team opened its tournament with a 1-1 draw against Gambia. In their second game, the Moroccans drew 2-2 with Ivory Coast before falling 3-1 against Tanzania. A loss would essentially eliminate the team as it would only be able to acquire six more points; Tanzania would wind up with nine points after a victory on Saturday.

Prediction:  The two sides battle to a 1-1 draw.

Start Time: Kick off starts at 4 PM Eastern Standard Time.

TV Info: The match will not be transmitted on television in North America.
