The Nokia Lumia 920 has experienced a steep price cut at retailer Walmart.

Walmart is offering the Windows Phone 8 Lumia 920 for $39.99 for its black, cyan, red, white, and yellow models.

New customers purchasing the Lumia 920 will have to select a service plan. The first plan, the Nation 450 with Rollover, provides 450 anytime minutes for $39.99. The next available plan, the Nation 900 with Rollover for $59.99, grants the Windows Phone 8 user 900 anytime minutes. Finally, for $69.99, AT&T offers the Nation Unlimited plan.

The $39.99 price tag isn't exclusive to new customers who want to sign to exclusive carrier AT&T, it's also available for current customers who wish to either upgrade their device or add a line to their account.

With the $39.99 offer, Walmart is providing free standard shipping through FedEx. Walmart has also priced the Lumia 920 at $529.99 as a replacement device and maintains the free shipping offer.

In comparison to the official AT&T website, the Lumia 920 is priced at $99.99 when signing a two-year contract. A one-year contract with AT&T will increase the price to $349.99 while a month-to-month price is $449.99.

The Lumia 920 smartphone has a screen size of 4.5 inches, 32GB of internal storage with 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with 3,264x2,448 pixels with LED flash, Bluetooth 4.0, an NFC chip and a 2,000 mAh battery capacity.
