Colombia is considered one of the best team in the world. They will have a huge chance to prove it when it visits Argentina in match day 13 of the World Cup 2014 Qualifiers.

Los Cafeteros are coming off a 1-0 loss to Venezuela in March's round of qualifying matches but have looked terrific since September. The team earned a 4-0 win over Uruguay on Sept. 7 before taking down Chile 3-1 four days later. In October, Colombia pulled off a 2-0 win against Paraguay and on March 22, the team pulled off a huge 5-0 win against Bolivia. Recent Monaco acquisition Radamel Falcao leads the team in scoring with six goals in 10 qualifiers. The Colombians currently sit in third place in the CONMEBOL with 19 points. They trail Ecuador by one point and Argentina by five. However, the Colombians have one game in hand on Argentina and could catch them with a win Friday.

The Colombians are also four points ahead of Venezuela and Chile, so a loss or draw against Argentina would not harm their aspirations tremendously.

The Argentines are the leaders of the standings with 24 points and a record of seven wins, three draws, and one loss. Argentina has not lost a qualifier since October 11, 2011 when they fell 1-0 against Venezuela in the second qualifying match. They defeated Colombia 2-1 on November 15, 2011; Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero scored the two goals for La Albiceleste.

Prediction: This match will be a huge litmus test for Colombia. Look for them to manage a 1-1 draw with Argentina.
