Venezuelan hottie Gaby Espino, Mexican heartthrob Aaron Diaz and telenovela veteran Carlos Ponce will star in Telemundo's next star-studded "Santa Diabla."

"Santa Diabla" means the return of Gaby Espino to telenovelas after hosting the talent show "Yo Me Llamo." It is also the premiere of Aaron Diaz as an actor for Telemundo. Ponce will have the leading villain role in the show.

Telemundo describes "Santa Diabla" as "the story of a woman who lives a dramatic turn in her life, in which she has to decide between love or revenge."

"Santa Diabla" is an original story from José Ignacio Valenzuela (La casa de al lado, Dama y obrero), that will be recorded at Telemundo Studios-Miami under the executive production of Carmen Cecilia Urbanski.

Gaby Espino last starred in Telemundo's production of "Ojo Por Ojo." And "Santa Diabla" will be her fifth production with the network. In 2009, during the filming of "Más Sabe El Diablo," the actress made headlines when rumors emerged that she was having an affair with co-star Jencarlos Canela—who is 10 years younger than her. At first, they both denied the rumours, but soon after Espino split with her then husband, actor Cristobal Lander, and announced she was having a child with Canela.

Mexican actor Aaron Diaz returns to the small screen after a period of inactivity following his role in Univision's telenovela "El Talismán." This is the first time he will be seen in a novela for Telemundo.

Carlos Ponce has had a successful career in Hollywood and will return to telenovelas after a long hiatus from the form in which he focused on different projects and on his personal life. The actor could be seen most recently posting the talent show "Idol Kids Puerto Rico" in his native country.

"Santa Diabla" is set to air this summer on Telemundo.
