The final season premiere of Showtime's 'Dexter' is just a couple weeks away and fans are dying to learn how the last episodes will play out. Showtime has slowly been releasing promo material for the eighth season, but now it has finally given viewers a sneak peak into the first episode, entitled "A Beautiful Day."

"A Beautiful Day," which airs on June 30, will pick up six months after LaGuerta's (Lauren Vélez) murder, as Dexter (Michael C. Hall) manages his life as a dad, brother and, of course, serial killer. However, as his sister Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) "struggles to deal with the consequences of her actions, a mysterious woman comes to work with Miami Metro, offering first-hand information on Dexter's past," Showtime teases.

Episode photos give fans a brief look into the first episode, including the mysterious woman that comes to work at Miami Metro. Will she pose a threat to Dexter and his secret? You can see a few of the photos above.

Showrunner Scott Buck is also spilling some details about the show's final season. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Buck said the show's ending will leave fans satisfied. "It feels like the exact ending we should be doing," Buck said. "Ideally it will make our audience sit back and see Dexter a little more clearly than before. It should absolutely make sense to everybody watching it."

Executive producer Sara Colleton added, "It won't feel like a 'What the f---?'...We know we have the right ending, we just have to execute it correctly. There's no emotional investments that aren't going to be resolved."

'Dexter' season 8 premiers on June 30 at 9 p.m. EST on SHOWTIME.
