Apple has released an iTunes update, four days ahead of the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in California.
The iTunes update, labeled as version 11.0.4, fixes a number of bugs including a problem that has previously caused iTunes to close if the user switches between wired and wireless synching. Furthermore, the update improves on the login required in the iTunes Store.
New features will come with the update such as a new MiniPlayer, improved songs view, and the ability to make albums with multiple discs appear as a single album.

To install the update, click here, or for Mac users, click on "iTunes" and select "Check for Updates..." The file size of iTunes 11.0.4 is 187.52MB for OS X owners while Windows users should anticipate 84.98MB.
The iTunes update comes three weeks after Apple's App store reached its 50 billionth download. Apple has not identified the winner, whom will receive a $10,000 gift card.
Meanwhile, Apple is four days away from the 2013 WWDC, where updates to the OS X and iOS are expected to debut. Ahead of the June 10 date, Apple launched the WWDC app. Features in the app include times, locations, and descriptions for all sessions of the five day conference. The WWDC is free and has so far received positive reviews from users.
