In the long, strenuous months that have leading up to the final eight episodes of "Breaking Bad," AMC has kept fans in the dark. The series return has been shrouded in secrecy. No matter how hard fans dig, they continue to come up empty handed. Tiny snippets here and there have provided them with several glimpses for what's on the horizon, but nothing has been conclusive. The cast informed fans that the final eight episodes will be some of the most thrilling yet. Creator Vince Gilligan claimed that anyone that feared an inconclusive finale should put his or her worries to rest. Still, there's not much on which to chew.
In the most recent "Breaking Bad" forecast, it looks like things won't be ending too pleasantly for at least one of the characters. AMC has unveiled a new poster for the final eight episodes that features the familiar ominous smoke and grungy tones from the show's title shot, along with the phrase, "All Bad things must come to an end."
It's unclear what "bad things" the poster is referring to, as there are many throughout the show, but it could allude to Walter Whites crystal meth empire, or Walt himself. Whatever it is, fans can simply not wait for the show's return.
Another recent photo from the set has provided fans with an early look into the remaining episodes, but still, it's not much. AMC won't give an inch. The photo features what appears to be a frantic Walt (Bryan Cranston) trying to convince his former sidekick Jesse (Aaron Paul) to help him. It's unclear what Walt needs from Jesse, but judging by the look on his face, it can't be good. Like most of Walt's wild endeavors, his proposal likely puts both of their lives on the line in a very unsavory fashion. It looks like "Breaking Bad" will be picking up right where it left off. "Breaking Bad" will return to AMC on Sunday, August 11 at 9/8c.
