Celebrity pregnancies seem to be in vogue these days. Weeks ago, Megan Fox "unofficially" announced her pregnancy. Then, a week later Claire Danes and Matthew McConaughey's wife Camila Alves also announced that new children were on the way.

Now Penelope Cruz is rumored to be expecting a child as well.

Hollywoodnews.com reported Thursday that Penelope and husband Javier Bardem will be parents for a second time.

Cruz had her first child Leonardo in January 2011. Cruz and Bardem were married in a private ceremony in July of 2010 after having worked together on Woody Allens' film "Vicky Christina Barcelona."

Cruz is currently working on "The Counselor," a film directed  by Ridley Scott and written by Cormac McCarthy. The film will also star Bardem but they are reportedly not sharing any scenes together. She will also star alongside Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz, and Michael Fassbender in the film. Cruz is also working on a new film with long-time collaborator Pedro Almdovar entitled "I'm So Excited." She is slated to make a cameo appearance with Antonio Banderas in the film; the first time the two will appear together on screen.

Cruz just completed filming "Venuto al Mondo", about a single mother who brings her teenage son to Sarajevo, where his father died in the Bosnian conflict years ago. The film also stars Emile Hirsch and is directed by Sergio Castellitto. It is expected to open next year.

Bardem's upcoming projects include a villainous role in the new James Bond film "Skyfall." He is also slated to star in Terrence Malick's "To the Wonder."
