The show begins with Stephanie McMahon explaining to the crowd that she was making the executive decision not to let Triple H wrestle, as scheduled against Curtis Axel, due the injuries he has suffered of late, especially at the hands of Brock Lesnar.

The crowd begins to boo as Vince McMahon's music hits and he heads to the ring. McMahon supports Stephanie's decision and asks the crowd, booing at the fact Triple H won't compete, to have some compassion. Vince reminds the crowd that his show is about family entertainment and not a blood sport.

MATCH #1: Randy Orton, Kane and Daniel Bryan vs. The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns)

Bryan gets the hot-tag late in the match and clears the ring as Orton was getting worked over by members of The Shield. Bryan attempts a Hurricarana on Ambrose, tossing him onto Rollins, before attempting a suicide dive on Reigns. Bryan hits Ambrose with a missile drop-kick for a 2-count and then attempts the "No Lock" on the current U.S. champion. Rollins and Reigns make the save. Kane tries to help his tag-team partner only to have Reigns spear for his troubles. Orton back in the ring and nails Rollins with an RKO. He attempts another RKO on Reigns but gets shoved into Bryan, who then takes a front-bulldog Ambrose. Down goes Bryan and Ambrose gets the three-count.

Winners: The Shield

Bryan argues with Kane and Orton demanding they give him respect and says he will beat respect out of someone later in the night.

Meanwhile, Triple H arrives and meets with Stephanie and Vince McMahon. Stephanie tells Triple H that Axel is not worth permanent injury while Vince asks him to be smart and walk away from this confrontation. Triple H refuses to listen before Vince tells Triple H not to do something he'll regret. He then hands Triple H and Stephanie McMahon papers to read.

MATCH #2: The Usos (Jimmy and Jey) vs. Prime Time Players (Titus Young and Darren O'Neil)

Usos make quick work of the Prime-Time Players after Jimmy Uso cleaned house nailing both Young and O'Neil with superkicks, setting things up for his brother Jey to nail the Superfly Splash on Young for the victory.
Winner: The Usos

MATCH #3: Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez) vs. Big E Langston (w/AJ Lee)

Langston uses his size advantage to take control early, tossing Del Rio into the barricades and leveling him with a side-breaker. Del Rio turns things around after Langston charged and hitting the turnbuckle pretty hard. Del Rio hits an Enziguri and a Superkick for a two-count. Del Rio tries an Arm-breaker only to have Langston pick Del Rio up and take him to the ropes. Del Rio lands the Arm-breaker anyway, over the top rope. Del Rio hits Langston with a German Suplex, attempts the arm-breaker but ends up rolling Langston up for the win.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio

MATCH #4: Sheamus vs. Cody Rhodes (w/Damien Sandow)

Rhodes manages to avoid "White Noise" midway through the match, countering with a pin attempt. The match continues going back and forth before Sheamus attempts a Brogue Kick that misses and gets caught in the ropes. Rhodes attempts a a neckbreaker and a pin for a two-count. Sheamus counter backs, misses with a clothesline, and Rhodes misses with an attempted a moonsault. Sheamus hits White Noise to set up Rhodes for the Brogue Kick and the win.
Winner: Sheamus


Triple H decides to leave the arena, promising to wrestle Axel next week. He tells Stephanie he's leaving not because of Vince but because he does not want to beat down on his children's grandfather.

Meanwhile, Bryan bumps into Ryback in the backstage area and angers him. Bryan tells him he does not fear him and calls Ryback crazy. Ryback calls a Bryan a "weak link" and promises to make him a "missing link" by the end of the night.

Paul Heyman is also backstage and informs Axel he'll face John Cena in a no-disqualification match later in the night.

MATCH #5: Fandango (w/Summer Rae) vs. Great Khali (w/Natalya and Hornswoggle)

The Great Khali controls most of the match until Fandango leaves the ring. Fandango attempts to leave the ringside area only to have The Miz stop him. Wade Barrett then comes out and attacks The Miz, staring down Fandango afterwards.
Winner: Great Khali via count out

MATCH #6: Non-Title Match - Interncontinental Champion Wade Barrett vs. The Miz

The Miz attacks early on only to catch a boot from Barrett. Barrett takes control but The Miz comes back, going back and forth with Barrett. Fandango's music hits, as he comes out dancing with Summer to the ramp area. Barrett is distracted long enough for The Miz to trip him up and cinch the figure-four leg-lock.
Winner: The Miz

CM Punk -Chris Jericho Contract Signing

Jerry Lawler is hosting the contract signing with Heyman will be representing Punk's business interest. Jericho tells Heyman it does not matter where they face-off - be it at Madison Square Garden or Hartford or Punk's hometown of Chicago - he will defeat the "best in the world." Jericho then asks Heyman where can he file the contract, attacks Heyman, and shoves the contract into Heyman's pants.

MATCH #6: AJ Lee, Nikki and Brie Bella vs. Kaitlyn, Cameron and Naomi

AJ Lee left the Bella Twins in the ring to fend for themselves. Kaitlyn spears one of the Bella Twins and earns the pin.

Winner: Kaitlyn, Cameron and Naomi

Bryan is backstage preparing for his second match of the night when Kane asks him not do face Ryback, reminding his partner of what Ryback did to Kofi Kingston last week. Bryan says he intends to prove he's not a weak link and tells Kane not to interfere. Kane says not only will he stay away, he's leaving the arena.

MATCH #7: Daniel Bryan vs. Ryback

Ryback comes out to the ring in an ambulance again. Ryback takes command early, using his strength and size differences to keep control. Ryback picks up Bryan by the beard and tosses him across the ring. Ryback tosses Bryan into the turnbuckle and misses, hitting the steel post. Bryan follows up with a missile drop kick and head-butt off the top rope, only getting a two-count. Bryan attempts to kick Ryback only to get caught and power-bombed. Ryback picks him up but Bryan clamps on the "No Lock". Ryback escapes by dragging himself to the ropes, rolling onto the floor. Bryan attempts a suicide dive but Ryback steps out the way and Bryan hits the announcers table. Ryback than tosses Bryan into the ring post repeatedly before tossing Bryan back into the ring. Ryback grabs a table and power-bombs Bryan through the table, getting himself disqualification for the match.

Winner: Daniel Bryan via disqualification

Ryback grabs another table before John Cena hits the ring to make the save. As Cena stands in the ring with the belt held as a weapon, Curtis Axel's music hits and he makes his way to the ring.

MATCH #8: Non-title Match: WWE Heavyweight Champion John Cena vs. Curtis Axel

Both wrestlers took advantage of the lack of rules with Axel nailing Cena repeatedly with chairshots for near two-counts. Axel hits Cena with a neck-break on a chair he set up but Cena kicks out. Heyman hands Axel an iPad and Axel hits Cena with the mobile device. Cena rolls to floor and manages to recover, setting up Axel for the AA outside the ring. Heyman stops him but Cena goes after Axel's advisor before Axel put an end to the chase. Cena fights back only to get attacked by Ryback, picking him up and slamming him through tables set up against the barricade, giving Curtis his second victory over the champion.
Winner: Curtis Axel via count out
