For fans of NFL phenom Tim Tebow, the latest news out of his camp is not good.

According to ESPN The Magazine, people in the popular former New York Jets backup quarterback's camp have indicated that Tebow's NFL career 's "probably over."

However, another member of Tebow's camp told USA Today last week that the reports were inaccurate and that Tebow has not given up yet on his dreams of playing in the NFL.

Furthermore, the report states, Tebow is not likely to address the story anytime soon in order to stay off the radar. It has been that problem, for the most part, that has NFL executives and coaches gun-shy about signing Tebow for their teams, as the wildly-popular quarterback is said to draw too much media attention that teams are reluctant to attract.

Currently, Tebow, whose athletic, wildcat-running style led the Denver Broncos to the AFC West title and a playoff win in his breakout 2011 season, is without an NFL team to call home after the Jets cut him early in the offseason. So far, despite rumors that Jacksonville, which is in Tebow's home state of Florida, no formal offers have come from any NFL teams, although a few other leagues, such as the Champions Professional Indoor Football League, have expressed their interest in wanting Tebow, who has a wide fanbase and more than two million followers on Twitter.

With three months left until the start of the 2013 NFL season, there is still time and the possibility that Tebow could find an NFL team that is interested in his services.
