Kanye West, Kim Kardashian Baby Gender Revealed - It's A Girl For The Couple

Baby Kimye's gender is finally revealed. The big announcement was done on Sunday's episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Kim's sonogram was shown on the E! reality TV show, revealing that Kardashian and boyfriend Kanye West are having a baby girl!

Since the couple announced that they were expecting their first baby in December, nothing much has been revealed about the coming baby dubbed Kimye. Not until Sunday.

On the episode, Kim was accompanied by her two sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, and her mom to a visit to the doctor. Initiating conversation, Khloe asked the doctor for the gender of the baby while Kim's ultrasound was ongoing. Answering the big question, Dr. Paul Crane reveals: "I'm thinking it's a girl."

While West was notably absent during the process, Kim revealed that the Grammy Winning-rapper was desiring a baby girl.

"I'm so excited we're having a girl," the 32-year-old reality show star and entrepreneur shared. "Who doesn't want a girl? I think they're the best, and I know that's really what Kanye's always wanted."

In celebration of the baby due to arrive this summer, Kardashian also had her baby shower last Sunday.

According to Yahoo! OMG, the event was hosted by Kim's mother, Kris, at a family friend's posh pad in Beverly Hills. The event was attended by the star's close friends and family, as well as celebrities. Seen at the baby shower were Nicole Richie, Kelly Osbourne, Nene Leakes and Mel B.

The E! News reported that guests enjoyed the shower over "Ladies Brunch," with a traditional buffet serving of eggs, bacon, pancakes, bagels, waffles and omelet. Celebrating the gender of the new bundle of joy, pink lollipops and pink cotton candies were also offered.

Also, against rumors, Kanye West did attend the bash, arriving with Kourtney and Khloe's other halves Scott Disick and Lamar Odom.
