Naughty Dog has revealed the Season Pass for the DLC for their upcoming game "The Last of Us." These new details reveal that the game will have a mix of single player DLC along with mutliplayer maps DLC and a host of unique extras. This news comes from Naughty Dog itself. It was also announced that the game will be available as a day-one digital download on the PlayStation Store. Players will be able to start playing the game while the game is being downloaded.

The season pass will cost $20 and include several extras. An additional single player story chapter will be made available, expanding the already epic story of Joel and Ellie. Two additional multiplayer packs will also come with the season pass, along with other expansions. The game will also have day-one bonuses for those who get the season pass. Increased crafting and healing speeds will be activated, the 9mm handgun will reload faster, and the rifle will have a greater capacity. Season pass owners will also get Grounded, the 90-minute long documentary about the making of The Last of Us.

So far, not much is known about the game's multiplayer, despite the fact that the game comes out June 14. Naughty Dog has kept that part of the game under wraps, but has promised to reveal information about the highly anticipated multiplayer mode soon. Naughty Dog has this to say about the game's DLC announcement:

"The journey and cast of characters in The Last of Us lends itself to thorough narrative exploration and we've got more of the story to tell."

"The Last of Us" will be out June 14 exclusively for the PlayStation 3. It tells the story of a world ravaged by a fungus that has taken over most of humanity and transformed them into carries for the fungus.
