iOS 7 Features Concept Video: 'Quick Reply, New Siri, and More' in Latest iOS Mockup [Video]

With Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) starting in less than two weeks, iOS 7 features concepts continue to rollout.

The latest concept was created by Christian Lue from ChanluChannel and Ran Avni of ConceptsiPhone with focus on quick responses, Siri, music app, icons, and settings.

The iOS 7 concept starts with a simplistic lock screen, almost going for "flat" texture as reported by many sources. The icons on the home screen appear to have less texture compared to the current iOS 6. The home screen also features a panoramic wallpaper as the user swipes either left or right of the display.

An updated feature is the Quick Reply. As seen on current iOS platforms, a banner may appear notifying the user of an incoming iMessage or text. The concept by Lue and Avni gives the user the option to either close or directly reply via the top banner without leaving the app originally opened.

Siri has improved in the iOS 7 concept. Avni and Lue worked on Siri to order a pizza, call a cab, set the alarm clock and translate phrases.

The Music app looks relatively the same except more options are provided when a song is tapped for longer than a second, such as Add to playlist, Add to Up Next, Add to DJ set, In the Store, Music Videos, and Gallery. The user can also see what the next few song next on a shuffle playlist.

As Latinos Post reported, Apple's Senior Vice President of Industrial Design, Jony Ive, is leading the iOS team for what may be a "flat" design for the mobile platform. The term "flat" has been used to refer to "simple" or "basic," and could see Apple drop heavy textures and gradients from items such as its icons.

According to 9to5Mac, the iOS 7 will be "black, white and flat all over." The iOS 7 has reportedly gone through several new interfaces and could see further changes until the start of the WWDC, which starts June 10.
