Cena promises that even if he wins the first two matches, he'll still put Ryback into an ambulance to be taken back to the hospital.

Ryback comes out and agrees to the match before Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel makes their way to the stage to put over Axel's "dominant" victory over Triple H. Heyman challenges Cena to a match with Axel which the champion gladly accepts.

Match #1: Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez) vs. Big E. Langston (w/AJ Lee)

AJ jumps onto the apron and takes apart the turnbuckle pad. Langston takes down Del Rio, who counters with the Cross-arm Breaker. Langston powers out of the hold, forcing Del Rio to let go of the hold, and waist-locks Langston, driving him into the exposed turnbuckle. Del Rio rolls up a dazed Langston for the victory. AJ and Langston both argue with one another over how the match ended and walk off together angry.
