CM Punk's absence on WWE Raw has been a notable one as the company looks to regain direction following WrestleMania 29 and the questionable status on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

However, Punk doesn't look like he's in a hurry to rush back anytime before he has to.

The five-time world champion at WWE tweeted the following message Wednesday.

"I am exactly where I belong. No desire to be anywhere else. #thankyouverymuch," he wrote on his Twitter page.

While it is not exactly clear what his message was about, speculation is buzzing that this message was regarding his current break from WWE programming since WrestleMania. Punk has been on break to rest his banged up knees along with other injuries, as well as to recover from burnout that he has been sustained over the last few years of working virtually with no breaks from the company.

Punk has been keeping himself busy away from the ring, attending the "Iron Man 3" movie premiere and Chicago Blackhawks playoff games. However, with the next Pay Per View, "WWE Payback," being scheduled in one of the biggest markets for WWE, his hometown of Chicago-where Punk is wildly popular-it is not unrealistic to expect some kind of appearance from the Straight Edge Superstar then.

Regarding plans for his return, Wrestling Inc.com reports that there is talk within the company that they could have Punk turn babyface in order to build a rivalry with Brock Lesnar, another "Paul Heyman guy," with the idea of Heyman turning on Punk to fuel the rivalry. It should be noted that Punk singled out the former UFC Heavyweight Champion in his infamous June 27, 2011 "pipebomb" promo in Las Vegas, so there is a bit of history between the two. And with Lesnar currently having concluded his year-long rivalry with Triple H, there is plenty of opportunity to create this feud.

In other news, things may have taken a bad turn for the red-hot faction of "The Shield" with reports that Roman Reigns, their strongman and one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, was injured during the Smackdown tapings Wednesday in Omaha, Nebraska.

Lords of Pain.net reports that Reigns tweaked his ankle during the six-man tag match against Randy Orton, Big Show and Kofi Kingston, Reigns visibly limping around the ring and needing to be helped to the back by a referee after the match. Reigns also did not take part in a post-match scuffle that teammates Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins were involved in. This could be a bad setback for the Shield, coming off an Extreme Rules PPV where they all captured WWE gold.

And in other developments, WWE has signed two new Divas to fill the ranks on their thinned women's roster. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the WWE has signed 28-year-old Christina Vargas and 21-year-old Alexis Kaufman. Vargas is described to be a junior national champion in 2009 in fitness and figures while Kaufman has posed in several bodybuilding magazines.

This is not the first time that WWE has ever hired fitness models or bodybuilders to their women's division, as WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, former Women's Champion Victoria, Aksana and current WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn all have bodybuilding roots.
