While the Android Key Lime Pie was not confirmed at Google's I/O conference last week, a video presentation might have provided hints to its existence.

A I/O session with Android Developer Relations Tech Lead Reto Meier focused on how to use Android's advanced techniques to build good apps. The session provided advanced coding tips, implementation patterns and recognizing lesser-known APIs.

Despite the informative lecture, it is the animations during the presentation that are capturing public attention.

As first seen from 25:39, the Android bugdroid is seen eating a green-colored slice of pie, perhaps symbolizing the Key Lime Pie. Another symbol provided in the first video is the Android mascot passing ice cream to a little girl, likely representing the Ice Cream Sandwich versions of the Google mobile platform.

At the 44:33 mark, another graphic shows a video game screen with the names Jelly Bean and Key Lime Pie listed, along with Chrome---Google's online browser.

The references to the Key Lime Pie could simply be an inside joke or jab at the speculation of Android 5.0.

According to the presentation, the animation and graphics were created by Pandamusk.
