With production on "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" well underway, photos and video footage from the set are slowly making their way into the hands of eager fans. Bystander footage of an epic NYPD chase scene that tore through downtown Rochester earlier this month gave fans a taste of the impending Spidey action, and now an actual fight scene between the superhero and Rhino gives us even more.

In the scene, Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) disarms a pathetic looking Rhino (Paul Giamatti), restrains him with his web, which is also uses to disrobe him of his track pants, and struts away with a confident little dance. Of course, there are no webs to be seen in the fan video, as they will be added in digitally during post production. Check out the video here.

In other enticing Spidey news, Garfield took a break from his hectic shooting schedule to play some basketball with a few New York City children while in costume. What an amazing story to run home and tell your friends and family, if they'd ever believe you. Lucky for them, and for fans, the whole thing was caught on tape.

From the video, it's impossible to know for sure if the mysterious masked hero is Garfield, however, the courts in the video are suspiciously close to the NYC Spider-Man set, and according to SportsGrid, Emma Stone can be seen walking a dog in the background. Check out the video below.

In "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," for Peter Parker, life is busy - between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen, high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away - but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro, emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn, returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" is set to hit theaters on May 2, 2014.
