The iOS update for the iPhone 5 continues to bring ire to many owners.

The iOS 6.1.4 update, exclusive for the iPhone5 , launched earlier this month to enhance the speakerphone capabilities, but iPhone 5 owners are sharing their experiences on how it has affect other features on the Apple smartphone.

As seen on Apple's Support Communities, That_Guy263 wrote, "After updating, my headphones started to not work, lots of crackling, volume controls on headset don't work. I thought it was a hardware issue at first, took it to Apple because still under warranty, they replaced. Took it home, working fine, so I update. Now it's not working again. Even done several restores, set up as new phone, restored from backup, tried everything, just dead headphone jack basically till next update.... I hope...."

From audio issues to wireless connectivity problems, JeanGenie13 stated how the Wi-Fi connection has fallen through on a number of occasions.

"This is really ridiculous now - every day this week my Wi-Fi drops three or four times. Everytime I have to switch on airplane mode and switch off again to regain access to my Wi-Fi. All this has happened since updating to 6.1.4."

The Wi-Fi issue is a sentiment also shared by spacegoogie, who noted having to move the router to a different location.

The iPhone 5's camera has also seen an impact following the iOS 6.1.4 update.

"After uploading my camera stop functioning," wrote Renatecu. "It worked completely fine right before, but now, the camera lense won't open, and all my apps where you use camera won't work. There is also a lot of lagging, and even though we just got a new router with very fast Wi-Fi, my cellphone is really slow (online)."

Renatecu did provide a contradicting account in regards to the battery life following the update. As Latinos Post reported, other iPhone 5 owners shared stories of battery drainages after iOS 6.1.4.

"My battery actually got better since the update, on iOS 6.1.3 it was draining [one percent] every 2-3 min and would be empty at around 6 p.m., now it is around 30 [percent] at 11 p.m. :)"

Have you encountered any difficulties after installing iOS 6.1.4?
