The Google Wallet mobile payment app is now available on the HTC One, as well as the Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, all on Sprint.

"It's been an exciting day for Google Wallet @ I/O.  We've just announced new features that let you easily send money (goo.gl/vTTTE) and buy online (goo.gl/yq0Wy).  We're also pleased to announce that you can buy in stores (goo.gl/r4kWO) with even more phones: Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy Note II and HTC One on Sprint, and Samsung Galaxy Note II on US Cellular," said a post on Google+.

Google Wallet stores credit and debit card information for use on-the-go. It makes use of NFC tech to allow payments at participating retailers with a tap of the phone. While the app has become more ubiquitous lately, Google is still pushing to expand its reach on more handsets, carriers and platforms, as well as more retailers, in the hopes of making it another commonly accepted form of payment, much like credit card companies had to do in the 1950s and '60s.

The HTC One features a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 4.7-inch 1920x1080 pixel widescreen Super LCD 3 display, a 2300 mAh Li-Po battery, a 4-megapixel "Ultrapixel" camera with enhanced low-light sensitivity with 1080p HD video, up to 64GB of internal storage and runs Android 4.1.2.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 features a 1.6GHz eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor or a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor (depending on country), 2GB of RAM, a 5-inch 1920x1080 Full HD AMOLED display at 441 ppi, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video, a 2-megapixel front facing camera, internal storage between 16 and 64GB, an SD card slot that can accommodate an additional 64GB, a polycarbonate body, Smart Pause and floating touch tech and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
