A Florida teenager whose right arm was bitten off by an 11-foot alligator earlier this week told FoxNews reporters he wants revenge.

17-year-old Kaleb Langdale was swimming on the Caloosahatchee River near Moore Haven, Florida, when he felt the huge alligator crunching down on his arm.

"I still couldn't break free because I was still attached to the tendon," Langdale said. "Then the gator did another death roll and I kicked my way out of it."

Amazingly, he managed to swim to the other side of the river while his friends called 911. Langdale explained that he tried to slow the bleeding by squeezing the severed arm between his legs, but then he fell into a cactus.

"It was there that I found spider webs that I also used to stop the bleeding," he said, noting that he learned such survival skills by watching shows like "Swamp People." "I kept telling myself that people die when they start hyperventilating. So I kept telling myself to breath."

Langdale's mother said he's staying positive, and that he gets his sense of perseverance from her. Her son had a few things to say about his attacker.

"I'm going to use it for a prosthetic armrest. I want his head," Langdale said. "You can't do this to me and get away with it."

It's a possibility that Langdale could get his wish - Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokesman Jorge Pino told reporters the alligator was hunted down and killed Monday night. The teenager's arm was found inside.
