Nokia has wrapped up their London Lumia event and presented to the world their next metallic smartphone - the Lumia 925.

The new smartphone is suppose to be an interpretation of their current flagship Lumia 920 smartphone but differs immediately with its metal design and third party applications.

"We keep innovating," said Nokia Smart Devices Executive Vice President Jo Harlow. "We're advancing experiences on the Nokia Lumia portfolio whether that means great new benefits for an existing Lumia owner, or bringing new showcase devices like the Nokia Lumia 925."

The Windows Phone 8 smartphone will be available in black, gray, and white variants with 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage memory.

A release date has been set for June in China, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the U.K. The U.S. will experience the Lumia 925 with T-Mobile shortly after, while China Mobile will serve as its the carrier in China. Vodafone will sell the phone throughout Europe. The Lumia 925 will be priced around 469 EUR, which is approximately $609 when converted to the U.S. dollar. The actual U.S. prices should be disclosed shortly.

"The new Nokia Lumia 925 is a sleek and sophisticated smartphone delivering great performance and outstanding imaging," said Vodafone's Group Director of Terminals Patrick Chomet. "We look forward to offering the Nokia Lumia 925 across our markets on Vodafone Red, as well as other tariffs, enabling customers to make the most of their new smartphone on Vodafone's fast and reliable network. Vodafone customers will also have exclusive access to a 32GB version of the Nokia Lumia 925, giving them even more capacity to store all their content for personal and business use."

The handset sports a 4.5-inch display with 1,280x768 pixels and a 2,000mAh battery capacity for the 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. The maximum standby time is 440 hours and just over 12 hours of talk time under a 3G network. The camera specifications include 8.7 megapixels for the rear-facing camera and 1.2 megapixels for the front-facing camera.

Nokia released a promo of the Lumia 925 with the tagline "More than your eyes can see," with the song "Something Real" performed by Koobra featuring Joanna.
