Castro Brothers 'Knew Nothing' About Alleged Kidnapping & Crimes; Pedro, Onil Insist They Would Have Turned Ariel In In CNN Video Interview

The Castro Brothers continue to insist they are innocent. In an interview with CNN to be aired on Monday, Pedro and Onil Castro say they have nothing to do with their brother Ariel's charged crimes, including three counts of rape and four counts of kidnapping. The two say they had no idea of the crimes the police are pinning on their brother.

"People think Pedro has something to do with this. Pedro don't have nothing to do with this. If I knew, I would have reported it, brother or no brother," explained Pedro to CNN.

Ariel Castro is facing three counts of rape and four counts of kidnapping involving three women: Amanda Berry, 27, Michelle Knight, 27, and Gina De Jesus, 23. Reports reveal these women went missing between 2002 and 2004 and have been held hostage by the suspect for 10 years in his home. During this time, the women were raped, tortured and beaten up leaving Knight with five miscarriages and Berry with a 6-year-old daughter, in which Ariel is also being charged with kidnapping against.

All three brothers were initially arrested and taken into police custody last week before Pedro and Onil were released on Thursday. The investigators said no evidence could be found linking the two to the crimes.

Pedro also noted that whenever he would visit his brother's home, noise would fill the place that would have masked the sounds made by the three hostages.

"If not the radio, the TV. Something had to be on at all time in the kitchen. So, I couldn't hear nothing else but the radio or the TV," noted Pedro, adding that whenever he visited Ariel's home, the area past the kitchen were off limits to him.

The younger Castro, Onil, agrees with Pedro, noting that people who know him will attest that he can't do anything like that.

"The people out there that know me, know Onil Castro is not that person. He's nothing to do with that," urged Onil.

"I could not ever think of doing anything like that," added Pedro. "If I knew my brother was doing this, in a minute I would call the cops."

Ariel Castro is currently being held in police custody under an $8 million bail. As for the victims, they have been reunited with their families and request the public for privacy.
