Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance's newest DLC, Blade Wolf, will be out on May 14 in North America, allowing players the chance to play as a chainsaw-equipped robotic dog with machine guns. Interested?

Blade Wolf, also know as LQ-84i, works with the game's main protagonist Raiden during the DLC, which takes place before the events of the main game. It is unknown what exactly the DLC will be about, considering that the DLC will follow the adventures of a robotic dog, so it will be interesting to see what happens during the course of the game. Konami, in a press statement available on Joystiq, highlights what players can expect from the DLC:

"[The DLC] features multiple hours of gameplay including unique abilities and characteristics for LQ-84i, while also expanding on each of his storylines and origins. Reactivated by Desperado Enforcement's leader Sundowner and serving under Mistral, the DLC reveals LQ-84i's story prior to his battle and eventual partnership with Raiden, and his transformation into Blade Wolf. Players can battle countless enemies using an arsenal of weapons and abilities, culminating in an all-new boss battle."

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has had two other DLC packages before Blade Wolf, which will be release tomorrow in Japan. The Jetstream DLC, focused on the character Samuel Rodriguez, was released in April, and the first DLC gave players the chance to test Raiden's skill in VR missions. However, no matter how excellent those pieces of DLC are, the ability to play as a robotic dog with all sorts of guns and blades involved takes the cake in terms of absolute coolness and fun that will be had in the DLC. The previous DLC packs for the game has been about $9.99, or about 800 Microsoft Points, but stay tuned to Latinos Post for more concrete details on pricing as they become available.
