Only two weeks remain until the fallout from Extreme Rules, and while the status of WWE Champion John Cena remains up in the air, two other major superstars are rumored to be coming back when WWE Raw emanates Monday night from the Roanoke Civic Center in Roanoke, Va.

The show's Five Points Preview acknowledges that Cena suffered an injury to his Achilles tendon in Europe, and promises fans an update as to the condition of Cena. According to Lords of Pain.net, Cena is not expected to miss any ring time and "plans to work through the bruised heel injury." However, the site reports, Cena has had his live events match schedule with Ryback, his opponent for Extreme Rules, changed to tag team matches with Kane and Daniel Bryan vs. The Shield in order to allow Cena to recover.

However, two stars that could be in Virginia for Raw could be former UFC champion Brock Lesnar and fan favorite Chris Jericho. According to Wrestling Inc.com, the official website for the Roanoke Civic Center is advertising Jericho, a six-time world champion, for the Monday show, while F4W Online.com reported that Lesnar will also be in Roanoke, likely to plug his upcoming steel cage match with old foe Triple H at Extreme Rules.

Antonio Cesaro is also being advertised for the event, looking as though the former indy star and ex-U.S. Champion could be in line for a renewed push. In addition, WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No and The Shield should be continuing their feud as they likely head to Extreme Rules for a possible tag title.

It also appears that World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler will also be onhand Monday night, and possibly Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger, as well, as the three head towards their triple threat ladder match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules in what could be the show-stealer of the night.

And in other news, UFC star Chael Sonnen told TMZ recently that he wants to buy WWE when he retires.

"It is 100% Chael's intent to buy the WWE," Sonnen's rep told the website, adding that Sonnen was meeting with "bigwig friends" and investors to organize a takeover.

However, with the company worth north of $500 million, and the business largely owned by the McMahons, a wrestling family of several generations, it is unlikely that WWE will be up for sale at anytime soon.

"We are a publicly traded company, so [Chael is] more than welcome to purchase shares of WWE stock and become one of our valued shareholders," a WWE representative told TMZ in a statement.

WWE Raw will air at 8 p.m. EST Monday, May 6, 2013 on USA Network.
