Air Jordan Release Dates For May 2013: Well, spring has finally arrived and six new Air Jordan styles will soon follow.

The first week of May brings two new kicks: Air Jordan 5 "Grape" (2013) and Air Jordan 1 Retro '93 "Phoenix Suns."

"Grape" is a highly anticipated style that will be available Saturday, May 4 in both Foot Locker stores and online for $160.

"We've waited seven years for the last Air Jordan 5 Retro "Grape" release and the time has finally come," the Foot Locker Unlocked blog posted about the new kicks.

The 2013 rendition of the "Grape" style worn by Michael Jordan in the 1990's will remain similar to the original with the same distinct colorway of grape, white and black accenting.

And on the same day as the "Grape" release, the Air Jordan 1 Retro '93 "Phoenix Suns" style will also go on sale for $130.

"Like the Air Jordan 8, this pair too celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Bulls vs. Suns NBA Finals series," sneaker blog KicksOnFire.com writes about the new release.

"Set in shades of grey, the sneaker is offset with bright citrus orange and deep royal blue accents."

And a little later in May, expect Air Jordan 28 "Thunder Away" and "Thunder Home" to be released Saturday, May 11 for $250 each.

"Thunder Home" features a very interesting and unique colorway, in the spirit of Oklahoma City Thunder of course, while "Thunder Away" features an upper full of random perforations.

Toward the end of the month, Air Jordan 1 "Black Toe" (2013) is slated for release on Saturday, May 25 for $140---according to SneakerNews.com. This style features a white, black and gym red colorway and is expected to draw a decent amount of demand.

And finally for May, there is the Air Jordan 8 "Playoffs" scheduled for release at some time with a black, varsity red and white color scheme. The release date and price have not been released for this style as of now.
