Colin Firth will join Woody Allen's next untitled project.

The movie, which will shoot in France, is also slated to star Emma Stone. The project has been kept under wraps with very little information revealed about it. Allen has already stated that it will be set in south of France and will shoot in the summer. It will mark his eighth film shot in Europe after "Midnight in Paris," "Match Point" and "Vicky Christina Barcelona."

The film will be produced by Gravier Productions and associates Aronson and StephenTenenbaum. Cinematographer Darius Khondji, production designer Anne Seibe, and costume designer Sonia Grande are also slated to work on the film.

Firth recently joined production on "The Secret Service" which will be directed by Matthew Vaughn. He is currently starring in the film "Arthur Newman" and will next be seen in "Gambit" alongside Cameron Diaz; he will also appear in "Devil's Knot." Firth recently appeared in three acclaimed films including "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy," "A Single Man" for which he garnered his first Academy Award nomination and "The King's Speech" for which he won the Oscar. He is currently filming "Before I go To Sleep" with Nicole Kidman, Anne Marie Duff, and Mark Strong.

Stone is currently shooting "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." She was last seen in "The Croods" and "Gangster Squad." The actress will next be seen in "Birdman" with Edward Norton, Andrew Riseborough, and Naomi Watts.

Allen's next film "Blue Jasmine" is set to hit theaters on July 26 with Sony Pictures Classics distributing. The film stars Cate Blanchett, Peter Sarsgaard, Sally Hawkins and Alec Baldwin.
