Fans are still desperately waiting for news regarding a "Justice League of America" movie that has yet to be confirmed. Warner Bros. has had trouble locking down the director and actors for the rumored film, and it doesn't look like the answers will be coming anytime soon. Director Zack Snyder has reportedly been offered the job, but still, there's been no official word from Warner Bros. or Snyder. Warner Bros. originally wanted to bring on Christopher Nolan, but the Batman director had qualms with the movie, claiming that it would contradict the reality he had established in his "Dark Knight" saga. The studio has also had problems getting actors such as Christian Bale, Ryan Reynolds and Henry Cavill to hop onboard and play their respective superhero roles, but once again, nothing has been confirmed. The movie will begin production at some point, there's just no way to tell when. It could be years. On the bright side however, a new "Justice League of America" spoof will help keep fans occupied in the meantime.
Compared to what Warner Bros. has done so far, which is absolutely nothing, this 8-minute "Justice League of America" spoof is surprisingly impressive. In a LEGO universe, the Justice League unites to fight off Batman and Superman's nemeses, the Joker and Lex Luthor. Although the humor and LEGO characters may not be exactly what "Justice League" fans want, it's still a very entertaining and well-produced spoof. The video aired April 26 and has already accumulated more than 100,000 views on YouTube. The set design is phenomenal, the jokes are well crafted and timed perfectly, and its characters are spot on.
It may not be the "Justice League of America" fans were hoping for, but it certainly serves as a great placeholder while Warner Bros. gets its act together. Check out the video below.
