A week ago, Robert Lewandowski's agent revealed that the superstar striker would leave current team Borussia Dortmund. However, recent reports indicate that the move may be delayed until next summer.

"We have reached an agreement with a club and intend (him) to move this summer," Lewandowski' agent Maik Barthel told Sport Bild a week ago. "There is a very interesting offer for Robert which fulfills entirely the demands set by Dortmund and also the demands of Robert."

He added, "Dortmund have assured us that Robert can move at the end of the season under these conditions. We stick to agreements and now it's up to the clubs to sort things out."

However, he is whistling a different tune these days. "I can tell you only one thing - Robert is interested in the future coming to the Premier League," Barthel is quoted as saying by the Guardian. "The Premier League is very interesting for Robert. How long is the future, I cannot say to you. I think this summer is not the future."

Manchester United has long been considered a favored destination for Lewandowski and manager Sir Alex Ferguson is not denying the possibility of accepting the Polish striker in his corps. "If the right player comes along you have to be prepared to make a move. I can find room for anybody here as long as they have the required quality," said Ferguson.

Bayern Munich has also been considered a potential employer for Lewandowski, especially after teammate Mario Gotze signed with the team last week. "I am not sure Lewandowski will be sold to Bayern now. The Dortmund fans are not going to be happy and I don't think they will sell to their main rivals. I think they will either let his contract run out, or sell him somewhere else," said Ferguson.
