Eva Longoria admitted that her divorce from Tony Parker took a major toll on her body both emotionally and physically.

The "Desperate Housewife" star opened up in a sit-down interview on Friday's episode of "The Dr. Oz Show," revealing that she suffered from depression and loss of appetite.

The 38-year-old actress met the 30-year-old NBA star in November 2004. They became engaged two years later and tied the knot in July 2007. However, they split up after three years amid cheating allegations and her divorce was finalized in January 2011.

As a result, Eva revealed that she endured stress-induced weight loss.

"I was not eating," she told Dr. Oz. "I was depressed. I was sad. My diet was coffee."

Ironically, Eva said this was "the time I got the most compliments, because I was so skinny."

"People kept saying, 'You look amazing. Divorce agrees with you,'" she said. "And I was like, 'I don't feel good. I have no energy.' I didn't know I was depressed. I mean, I knew it was a sad moment in my life, but I wouldn't categorize myself as depressed."

Eva's doctor told her that her blood tests revealed she "was just depleted of every vitamin." In effect, she was iron-deficient. Her liver was overacting and there were "all these things [that] were physically wrong with my body, so I had to saturate with vitamins and kind of get back onto...track," she said.

Fortunately, she was able to bounce back and made dietary changes to improve her health. "For about three months, I did a really strict no-sugar diet, and I had more energy than I've ever had. My palate was different. Things tasted better."

Now the actress is rumored to be dating reality TV star Ernesto Arguello.
