Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer rumors will not cease. Despite the striker's claims that he will finish out his contract with Madrid, many question whether the superstar will remain with the Spanish giants.

Coach Jose Mourinho believes that his countryman should remain with his current club.

"It's clear that he's the kind of player who could play anywhere he wants," Mourinho said in an interview with TV1. "It would be great for Madrid and for himself if he signed a contract extension here. He's a fantastic player and indispensable for Madrid."

He added, "When you have a player of his caliber, you must do everything within your power to hold on to him."

Club president Florentino Perez recently stated that he will do everything possible to resign his star player. "Keep calm, we are going to renew with Cristiano Ronaldo. The club is going to pay him," Perez told the team's fans at a meeting.

If Ronaldo does in fact leave, one of the rumored destinations is Paris Saint-Germain. "I think Cristiano Ronaldo joining PSG is possible," said former PSG striker Pauleta in an interview with Zeenews. "The people in charge at PSG are very competent. They are able to buy a player if they think it's necessary. Cristiano Ronaldo is a spectacular player and I hope that Paris can recruit more players like him and [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic in the future."

Manchester United has also been listed as a possibility. However, the team has repeatedly stated that it is not part of the Cristiano Ronaldo sweepstakes.

Ronaldo leads Real Madrid with 31 Spanish league goals and leads the UEFA Champions League with 12 goals.
