Nokia Lumia smartphones with the Windows Phone 7.8 platform have received a new software update.

Impacting the Lumia 520, Lumia 610, Lumia 710, Lumia 800, and Lumia 900, the update provides resizable Live Tiles, Cinemagraph, Camera Extras, and Bluetooth Share.

According to Nokia, they are touting the update as "our biggest Lumia updates yet."

Nokia noted the updates will be delivered in phases and should be completed by the end of April. Smartphones owners of the before mentioned Lumia devices should receive a notification once the updates are available.

About the new apps:

Bluetooth Share: "With Bluetooth Share you can send and receive image and audio files between your devices. Switch Bluetooth on anytime you want to send or receive files, pair your devices and start using Bluetooth Share."

Camera Extras: "Make your photos look super-sweet. Smart Shoot lets you choose the best smiles in one photo, Erase Object lets you edit out the stuff you didn't mean to shoot, Action Shot captures movement in your photos and Panorama gives you a wide and wonderful view."

Cinemagraph: "Cinemagraph is a magical blend of photo and movie-like animation, creating pictures that seem almost alive. Helpful on-screen assistance lets you select the animated area of your picture and easily create a cinemagraph. The end result is enchanting."
