Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is known for its impeccable, innovative lineup. Every year it brings in the biggest names, the most cutting edge artists and the world's most prolific performers. It sets the tone for the subsequent summer festival season. Fans flock from around the world to celebrate love, freedom and expression with other exuberant festival goers. There is however, the salty bunch that goes just to say that they went. They may enjoy the music and festivities, but the sole reason for their attendance is to brag about it afterwards. They share stories of how their favorite bands they don't even listen to put on the greatest show anyone has ever seen, ever. "Oh my God, you should have been there!" Yes, we should have. Unfortunately, people like you snagged up all the tickets.

As an act of revenge against these hip music lovers, Jimmy Kimmel made another segment of his "Lie Witness News," which interviewed those at Coachella about up-and-coming bands that don't even exist. To little surprise, these music know-it-alls share their in-depth knowledge on the subject. They revel in the greatness of the fictitious bands and boast about how much they love their raw, innovative styles. Watch the past weekend's interviews below.

So thank you, Coachella fans for affirming the downside of any festival. Please, go enjoy yourselves, but go for the music that you love. Go for the experience. Don't go just to say you went and to prove to all your Facebook friends that you're like, the most coolest and alternative person they know. That's not the point. Of course, these people only constitute a small subgroup of attendees, but this video proves why they should not be invited back next year. Cheers to you, Jimmy Kimmel.
