Two of the WWE's most iconic stars are on the mend following WrestleMania 29, putting their immediate, and in one star's case, long-term future with the company in doubt.

Triple H has been reportedly on the mend with an injured left arm that he sustained following his no holds barred fight with former UFC star Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, putting a cloud of doubt as to whether "The Game" will be able to make it to the next WWE Pay Per View, Extreme Rules, in May.

WWE.com reported this week that the 13-time world champion tweeted a photo revealing that he had an MRI taken of his left arm as a possible reason why he was late to Raw this week. Doctors, the web site says, have diagnosed Triple H with a carpal sprain and contusion, or bruise, to his left wrist.

With the injury normally taking several weeks to heal, Triple H could in theory make it back in time for the May 19 PPV.

However, while there is little question that fans will see "The Cerebral Assassin" back in the ring sometime soon, the same cannot be said of another major superstar the WWE is banking on to bring in buy rates and dollars, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

The movie star/former WWE Champion reportedly suffered abdominal injuries during his bout with new WWE Champion John Cena at WrestleMania 29, leading to him missing the WWE Raw episode the night after WrestleMania, during which he had a planned segment with Brock Lesnar scheduled that would have set the tone for a feud with Lesnar for next year's WrestleMania 30.

On Twitter Wednesday, the Rock posted an update on his condition, implying that he could heal as soon as five weeks.

"Injury update: Physical therapy starts tomorrow. Hardcore training starts today. Thank U guys for the love. 5 weeks," tweeted the eight-time WWE champion.

And in other news, 411mania.com is reporting that former WWE diva Eve Torres announced her first post-WWE signing with Retro Wrestling while WWE is also seeking a telenovela writer in order to reach out to the Latino market; currently, WWE does broadcast in Spanish.
