The "50 Shades of Grey" casting rumors just won't stop, and they're not going to until E. L. James and Universal Studios make their decision. One fan favorite in particular continues to attract attention. He's also the most vocal about any "50 Shades" gossip about him. He's even expressed interest in accepting the role of he had the opportunity. So why not just cast him as Christian Grey? He's good for the part, he's willing, fans love him. He's perfect. It would save fans a major headache if we just got it over with. We're dying for an answer. So please, James, just offer Ian Somerhalder the role and move on.

It doesn't hurt that Somerhalder's on and off screen girlfriend Nina Dobrev from "The Vampire Diaries" is a serious contender for the role of Anastasia Steele. The two already have the chemistry. They would surely light things up on the big screen. Not to mention Dobrev has the perfectly seductive look to play the innocent, vulnerable Ana. Check out this fan-made trailer starring the duo below.

However, some fans fear that their relationship could take away from the film. We've already seen them as a couple on "The Vampire Diaries," so casting them together could draw too many parallels to The CW television series. That's why there's a back up. If Dobrev is cast as Ana, many fans could also see Stephen Amell as the sex-crazed Christian Grey. Check out the equally as raunchy fan-made trailer starring Amell and Dobrev below.

So what's it going to be? Nothing is official of course, but if Dobrev were cast as Ana, who would make a better Christian? Somerhalder or Amell? Then again, if Dobrev isn't cast and another Ana fan favorite, such as Alexis Bledel or Lucy Hale, takes the role, would Somerhalder or Amell still fit the part? It would be nice if James and Universal could get their act together and just make a decision, or at least narrow down the options. All this speculation has got fans feeling a bit dizzy.
