On Sunday at the MTV Movie Awards, Aubrey Plaza interrupted Will Ferrell’s acceptance speech.

The “Safety Not Guaranteed” star walked up on stage with a drink in hand and tried to take the Popcorn trophy from Ferrell. However, he did not let it go, so the actress put her head down and scurried back to her seat in the front row, where she spilled her drink and then sat there.

Ferrell than stated "Aubrey Plaza, everyone, Just like we rehearsed it. Perfect, it was perfect. Not too long, not too short. Right on the money."

After the Stunt the MTV producers asked Plaza to leave the awards ceremony.

Ferrell later told MTV Backstage, "I think she wanted to tell me something important, but there was no message. It was just a lot of hot liquor breath. And, then, and a little bit of sweat. And then she ran away. But the ship sailed on."

The actress later sent a message via twitter stating "thanks for the advice @kanyewest went better than planned!"

Plaza was recently seen in the Indie hit “Safety Not Guaranteed” and “A Glimpse in the Mind of Charles Swan the III.” She was also seen in “The End Of Love” and is currently starring in the hit series “Parks and Recreation.” She will next star in “The To Do List.”

Ferrell received the Comedic Generation award at the MTV Movie Awards. He was last seen in “The Campaign” and the Spanish speaking film “La Casa de Mi Padre.” He next reprises the role of Ron Burgundy in “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.”
