Paul McCartney is the richest musician in the United Kingdom according to recent reports.

The Sunday Times Rich List reports that the former Beatle is worth an estimated £680 million (a whopping $1.05 billion). He is listed alongside his wife Nancy Shevell, who owns a trucking company. McCartney has sustained the top spot since the list's inception in 1989.

Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, best known for "The Phantom of the Opera" comes in at number two with a net worth of £620. Rounding out the top five is U2 (£520 million), Sir Elton John (£240 million), and David and Victoria Beckham (£200 million).

Singer Adele continued atop the list of the 10 richest musicians under the age of 30. She topped the list in 2012 with a net value of £20 million, but has increased her worth 50 percent for a total of £30 million.
