Bethesda, the company that has brought forth such acclaimed franchises as The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Dishonored, is planning on making more waves this year than it did in 2012, according to Pete Hines, the company's vice president of PR and marketing. When Hines was recently on the OXM podcast, he dropped several tantalizing hints on where the company was going.

"Obviously The Elder Scrolls Online is out and we've got the Dishonored DLC...but we will be announcing new stuff and making some noise, and I think when we get the chance to show you guys what we're up to, that you'll sit up and take notice," Hines said.

While The Elder Scrolls Online alone is more than enough for legions of gamers to get excited about what Bethesda is doing this upcoming year, Hines indicated that whatever else the company is cooking up will leave people in awe.

"I think we're continuing to do the stuff that we get excited about, and people will get really excited about when they hear what we're up to, which is continuing to push the boundaries, reinvent - find really smart, passionate teams who know what they're doing and have an idea that they really want to do and do well."

Hines did not reveal exactly what the company is working on, but one of the hot rumors around town that the company could be developing Fallout 4. While there is very little evidence to prove this, Bethesda has copyrighted the term "Fallout TV," and that is enough for fans to get ready to explore more of the post-apocalyptic wastelands the games are known for. Other possible games that Bethesda could have in the works are a sequel to Dishonored, the survival-horror game Zwei, and the long-delayed and now-rebooted Doom 4. It is unknown what direction Bethesda will take, but the company is confident that there surprises will delight gamers.
