The trailer to Ron Howard's new Film "Rush" has premiered Online.

The film, starring Chris Hemsworth, tells the story of the Formula 1 champion driver Niki Lauda and the 1976 crash that almost claimed his life. Mere weeks after the accident, he got behind the wheel to challenge his rival, James Hunt.

The film has already generated Oscar Buzz because it will be released later this year. Additionally director Ron Howard has had a good track record with historical pieces. He won the Academy Award for "A Beautiful Mind" which told the story of John Nash, and was also nominated for the film "Frost/Nixon." His other two historical films "Apollo 13" and "Cinderella Man" garnered vast acclaim and multiple Oscar nominations as well. Currently, Chris Hemsworth has been buzzed about as a potential Acting nominee candidate as well as Howard for Best Director.

Howard last directed "The Dilemma" with Vince Vaughan, Kevin James and Wionna Ryder as well as "Angels and Demons with Tom Hanks, Ewan McGregor, and Ayelet Zurer. He is currently developing two new films entitled "In the Heart of the Sea" and "The Graveyard Books."

Hemsworth was last seen in the global hit "The Avengers" as well as "Snow White and the Huntsman." He also starred in "Red Dawn" and will next be seen in "Thor: The Dark World." He is also slated to reprise his roles as Thor in "The Avengers 2" and The Hunstman in "Snow White in The Huntsman 2."

"Rush" also stars Daniel Bruhl, Olivia Wilde, and Tom Wlaschiha. The film will be released on September 30 and is currently not rated.
