An unlocked 32GB GSM version of the HTC One is now available for pre-order for $574.99.

Since it's GSM-only, this particular version of the phone only works on AT&T and T-Mobile, not Verizon or Sprint. But there's no contract, so you're free to use it on either carrier, which may be an attractive option for people who want to try out T-Mobile's new no-contract plans for a month or two.

Of course, there are plenty of other options for customers who want the HTC One. Both Sprint and AT&T are offering it for $199.99 with a two-year contract through the company's themselves or Best Buy, though Sprint customers can pre-order from Wirefly for only $149.99.

T-Mobile has the HTC One contract-free for $99.99 upfront and $20 a month for $24 months.

The only carrier that doesn't have access to the One right now is Verizon, though rumors continue to circulate that Verizon will offer a rebranded version of the phone later this year, perhaps adding it to its Droid DNA line, though there are no specifics yet.

The One debuted earlier this year, but availability has been delayed due to component shortages. Industry insiders say manufacturers are no longer prioritizing HTC and have downgraded its status from a "tier-one" company after its unreliable order history during a sales slump last year. The lack of product, despite excellent reviews for the One, led HTC to it worst quarterly profits in company history.

The HTC One features a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 4.7-inch 1920x1080 pixel widescreen Super LCD 3 display, a 2300 mAh Li-Po battery, a 4-megapixel "Ultrapixel" camera with enhanced low-light sensitivity with 1080p HD video, up to 64GB of internal storage and runs Android 4.1.2.
