Paul Thurrott, a Microsoft Blogger and Insider, has recently released several new pieces of information about the next-gen Xbox, including its price points and the models that will become available at launch.

Thurrott, speaking on What The Tech, revealed that the Next-gen Xbox will launch in November, and will offer two different models. There will be a $300 subscription-based model, and a $500 standalone version of the console. Thurrott also confirmed the rumors that the next-gen Xbox would require an internet connection in order to function.  Overall, Thurott declared that the next-gen Xbox would be "expensive."

Thurrott also believes that Microsoft will officially reveal the new console on May 21, something he had proclaimed before. In addition, Thurrott also believes that the next-gen Xbox would show up twice more in June, once at the E3 conference, and at the Build 2013 developers conference. The May reveal is expected to be a quiet affair, and will reveal some information about the new Xbox as a prequel to the company's E3 presentation, according to The Verge.

In addition to all this information, Thurrott also revealed that two other types of Xboxs that Microsoft has been developing.. One, entitled "Stingray," is a Xbox 360 that will be available for $99. The other device is a Xbox that would not actually play games, but would be used for other types of entertainment. This would have been called "Yumo," but Thurrott believes Microsoft has since dropped the idea, so as to not confuse the market.

Microsoft has yet to comment or confirm any of the details that Thurrott has put forth, but he is considered to be a reliable source, considering that he runs Paul Thurrott's Supersite for Windows. While this is still a rumor, Thurrott could have insider information about the system, and with all the different sources claiming similar facts, it appears that this is indeed what we can expect from the Xbox 720.
