The Nokia Lumia 928 might have finally been confirmed with new renderings of the smartphone hitting the Internet.

As seen with the tweet below, @evleaks has "leaked" what may be the model of the upcoming Lumia 928, exclusively set for Verizon Wireless.

According to The Verge, the image "is in fact genuine."

It was widely rumored the Lumia 928 would launch in April, and the report noted Verizon still aims to debut their new exclusive Windows Phone 8 smartphone this month.

Further, it was speculated the Lumia 928 would have an aluminum frame, however, Nokia will reportedly utilize a thinner polycarbonate on the smartphone instead.

The Lumia 928 will sport a slightly thinner compared to the flagship Lumia 920, which is exclusive to AT&T. The upcoming Verizon Wireless smartphone will feature a screen size of 4.5 inches with OLED display.

It is not the first time Twitter user "evleaks" tweeted about the Lumia 928. As Latinos Post reported, a Microsoft employee used the Lumia 928 to take a picture of a mug from the Black Raven Brewing Co., stating, "Nokia Lumia 928 test photo..." on March 13. The GPS data detailed the picture was taken in the town of Redmond, home of Microsoft and at the Malt and Wine Bar.

The Lumia 928 has already gone through the Federal Communications Commission's testing. The Nokia smartphone has been speculated to join Verizon due to having the Long Term Evolution (LTE) bands, 4 and 13, which matches Verizon's network.
