Microsoft has released a second advertisement comparing the Nokia Lumia 920 over Samsung's Galaxy S3.
The video comparison, featuring real people and not actors, discuss the camera specifications of both devices.
In the advertisement titled "Windows Phone Challenge: Blur-free video-Galaxy S3 vs. Nokia Lumia 920," Ben, representing the Lumia 920, meets Shalini, an owner of the Galaxy S3, outside of a carousel. Shalini agrees to compete against Ben on video recording her daughter riding on the carousel. The final result was Shalini "ditching the Galaxy S3" in favor of the Windows Phone 8 Nokia Lumia 920 due to better stabilization.
The advertisement was uploaded on YouTube on April 4 and has received about 8,000 views. The ad is the second under the "Windows Phone Challenge" comparing the Galaxy S3 camera as well.
The first Windows Phone Challenge, uploaded March 19, compared the photography of the Lumia 920 and Galaxy S3. Ben offered the Galaxy S3 owner, Brittany, $100 if the Samsung smartphone outperforms the Nokia device.
"It's like a professional camera," said Brittany about the Lumia 920 upon viewing the results of the test.
Similar to Shalini, Ben offered Brittany an upgrade to the Lumia 920, and she agreed.
"[With the Lumia 920], you can point, shoot, and share in an instant," noted Windows Phone in the new advertisement's description. "Because your Windows Phone has an easy-to-use, dedicated camera button that lets you take pictures and videos on the spot, even when your phone is locked."
The Lumia 920 smartphone features include a screen size of 4.5 inches, 32GB of internal storage with 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with 3,264x2,448 pixels with LED flash, Bluetooth 4.0, an NFC chip, 2,000mAh battery capacity, and is available in black, gray, red, yellow and white color variants.
