The latest firmware update continues to bring problems for many Nokia Lumia 920 owners.

As Latinos Post reported, AT&T rolled out firmware update "SW 1232.5957.1308.0001," last week. The update included enhancements to proximity sensor parameters, improved automatic display brightness adjustment, and performance improvements.

It didn't take long for complaints to start pouring in.

Lumia 920 customers originally took to Reddit to detail their stories following the update, but now it has gone to Nokia's very own discussion boards.

"Warning!!! Do not update to the new 1308.0001 firmware. The software has a huge bug that causes the data connection to not function properly," wrote andyshine77 on Nokia's Support Discussions. "If you do update your phone, you will have poor or no data connection whatsoever...As of now I and many others have no data and poor phone connection, even after preforming the sim card removal and reset Nokia has suggested."

Fellow forum member sparkedfire wrote, "I can confirm that there is indeed a connectivity issue with this update. Battery performance has improved dramatically however. I hope that is not at the cost of signal/data reliability."

Shaji1965 also responded, stating ,"I updated last week and am having issues exactly as it's posted here. LTE connectivity drops frequently, battery life draining. Another one is that Nokia Drive Beta doesn't update. I get the following error 'There is a problem completing your request. Try again later Error code 805a0194.' This is something other people are having as per the link. What is Nokia doing about fixing this? Why doesn't Nokia have better QA before these updates are released?"

Although there were a fair share of Lumia 920 owners stating that they have not experienced any difficulties with the firmware update, the attention was enough to attract the attention to Nokia for further investigation.

According to WindowsPhoneFanatics, Nokia's North America Customer Support is also aware of the issue.

"We have received some consumer feedback related to the Nokia Lumia 920 firmware update and have temporarily paused delivery of the update to investigate. We'll have more information as it becomes available. For those who have already updated their software, a new update will be available in the near future. "

Nokia Care US also addressed the matter on Twitter, stating, "We're aware & update has been temporarily paused. New update will be available in the near future. We'll keep you posted."

The update was launched this week across Europe. No word yet if the European Lumia 920 experienced the same issues.

The Lumia 920 smartphone has a screen size of 4.5 inches, 32GB of internal storage with 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with 3,264x2,448 pixels with LED flash, Bluetooth 4.0, an NFC chip, 2,000mAh battery capacity, and is available in black, gray, red, yellow and white color variants.
