The Davis Cup World Group quarterfinals are upon us. With the first round a distant memory, tennis fans are eager to get their next dose. The eight remaining countries include Canada, Italy, Serbia, USA, France, Argentina, Kazakhstan and Czech Republic. The ties begin this Friday, April 5 and will continue through Sunday.

With the top-ranked Spain out of the picture, the cup is anyone's for the taking. USA will face off against Serbia, a team led by World No. 1 Novak Djokovic. Fellow teammates Viktor Troicki and Nenad Zimonjic will likely link up in the doubles competition. The match will take place in Boise, Idaho on U.S. soil, giving the USA team a slight upper hand. The new American No. 1 Sam Querrey will lead the US team, backed by the giant John Isner. Bob and Mike Bryan, one of the game's most notorious duos, will take the to the doubles court on Saturday.

Argentina and France have stuck with their first round teams and are anticipated to give fans one of the most contested ties of the weekend. Juan Monaco, backed by either Carlos Berlocq or Horacio Zeballos, will lead the Argentine team against France's Jo-Wilfred Tsonga and Richard Gasquet.

Kazakhstan will also go with an unchanged team as they face the defending champions Czech Republic. Mikhail Kukushkin, fresh off hip surgery, will hope to impress his team and hosting home country against an unconfirmed Czech team, with either Lukas Rosol or Jan Hajek taking the reins.

This weekend's winners will earn a spot in September's semifinals. All four ties will provide unpredictable outcomes as the Davis Cup continues to barrel through 2013.
