The third episode of "The Voice" saw the continuation of the blind auditions and the coaches continue to fight over singers.

The first vocal performance of the evening was by the Swon Brothers. The duo performed an American girl and made Usher, Shakira and Blake Shelton turn around. Blake persuaded them by stating that he is from Oklahoma like the brothers. Shakira said they had great voices and that she could give them a fresh perspective. Regardless the brothers ended up choosing Blake.

The next performer was Taylor Beckham, who made Shakira and Usher turn around immediately. Usher said she was very passionate and sold him the song. Shakira said she executed a beautiful performance and she had the tips for her because she was once in her position. Adam Levine said he had never seen Usher so passionate over a singer in a long time.  Beckham picked Usher and said it would be an honor to work with him.

The next participant was Sam Alves, but no one turned around for him because the coaches said that song he sang required a lot of perfection that he did not have yet.

Next up was Karina Iglesias, a music teacher who dedicated her performance to her grandmother. Adam and Blake pushed their buttons by the end of the song. Adam said that she was a great singer while Blake said that she knew how to push the limits and had a lot of energy. Shakira was very upset for not turning around and said she was amazing. Karina ultimately went with Adam.

The next participant was Garret Gardner who auditioned last season but did not make it. Shakira was the only one to turn around. Adam said he was happy to see him back and said he was much stronger this season and Blake also said he was happy for him.

Next, Shakira picked soul singer J'Sun, while Duncan Kamakana went to Adam. Chelsea M got picked by Usher.

Holly Tucker was next to sing and the moment she started Shakira, Adam and Usher turned around. Blake turned around after a few minutes. It was the first contestant of the night to be chosen by all four coaches. Holly told the judges that she loved country music and that is what she wanted to do and eventually picked Blake.

Sinka Vaid, Shane Simon, Joistarr and Landon Medvec all failed to make the cut regardless of the great comments the coaches gave them.

Michelle Chamuel was the next performer and immediately made Adam and Shakira turn around. Usher also turned around by the end of the song. Shakira said she loved her voice and said she was fierce. Shakira said she knew exactly the type of singer she was. Adam said he loved her and Usher was really impressed and said she could go really far. However, Michelle asked the three judges what they thought she could improve upon. Adam said he was there to guide her while Usher asked her what type of music she wanted to be known for. Shakira said she would give 150% for her artists. Michelle eventually went with Usher.

Next was Julie Roberts, who did not get picked by any of the coaches.

Monique Abbadie next sang one of Shakira's songs. Blake immediately turned around followed by Usher, Shakira and Adam. Once the song was finished Shakira said she was really proud and said she did a terrific job. Adam, Usher and Blake then said she should pick Shakira because it was a match made in heaven. Monique was thrilled because Shakira she was her idol and wanted to be like her.

Firefighter Warren Stone was the last singer of the night and even though he is a country singer picked Adam.

By the end of the night Blake picked up two singers, bringing his team to five.  Shakira picked three artists bringing her team to seven singers. Usher and Blake also picked three singers. Their teams now stand at to six.

The next episode of "The Voice" will be aired on Tuesday at 8pm.
