During premiere to their new movie "The Place Beyond the Pines," Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes did not speak throughout the night.

According to AM New York the couple even mingled separately at the party held at the Bowery Hotel on Thursday night.

The news source stated, "They actually kept things very professional and didn't speak once and they both mingled and worked the room." They added "They didn't pose alone together earlier in the night, either, at the movie's premiere at the Landmark Sunshine theater."

Gosling, 32, and Mendes, 39, who arrived separately at the Svedka-sponsored party, started dating a year ago. Gosling arrived in a Gucci suit and Mendes went to the event in a peach Prada; they posed individually and for a few photos with co-star Bradley Cooper.

Whether or not the couple has split is unknown, but they are most likely keeping their relationship under wraps. The stars are set to reunite for Gosling's directional debut in "How to Cacth a Monster" where Mendes will star alongside Saoirse Ronan, Christina Hendricks, Ben Mendelssohn, and Matt Smith.

Gosling will next be seen in the upcoming Nicolas Winding Refn movie "Only God Forgives" with Kristen Scott Thomas and in Terrence Malick's untitled film.

Besides Gosling's directional debut, Mendes will star in "Clear History" with Kate Hudson, Jon Hamm and Michael Keaton.

"The Place Beyond the Pines" is currently playing in four theaters with Focus Feature planning to expand it nationwide within the coming weeks.
