Ric Flair's Son Reid Dies

One of the wrestling world's most beloved legends was dealt a tragic blow Friday as authorities say the son of 16-time World Champion Ric Flair was found dead in a hotel room in North Carolina.

As the Associated Press reported, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say they received a call to a hotel on the south site od Charlotte on Friday morning where they found the body of Reid Fliehr, 25, also a wrestler.

No signs of foul play were found by police and the cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner's office.

Flair, whose real name is Richard Morgan Fliehr, was absent from a scheduled appearance on Monday Night Raw and has been at home dealing with a swollen leg caused by a blood clot, according to the wrestling news site Lordsofpain.net.

Flair's agent sent a statement on the death of Reid, calling him ""an incredible son, brother, friend, and professional wrestler."
