Those component shortages keep delaying the release of the HTC One. Now UK mobile retailer Clove has announced it won't be getting the silver HTC One until Apr. 3.

And the black version of the One won't be out until Apr. 10.

"If you have an order with Clove for a HTC One, or have been planning to place an order, please find the current stock situation below:

Silver HTC One - First stock delayed until next week, 3rd April.

Black HTC One - First stock delayed until 10th April," Clove said on its blog.

The retailer also said any pre-orders placed from now on likely won't arrive until late April.

Of course, this is just one retailer, and others might have different release dates and stock, but from what we've seen in the past, Clove is often one of the first retailers in the UK to get high-end smartphones in stock.

HTC has been struggling to source components for its unique UltraPixel cameras. Industry sources say HTC is no longer considered a "tier-one" customer after its unreliable order history during last year's sales slump.

The manufacturing delays mean the One will compete directly against Samsung's new Galaxy S4, a direct competition HTC was hoping to avoid as it attempts to break back into a mobile market dominated by Apple and Samsung.

Much of HTC's fate rests on the popularity of the HTC One, and a poor showing even after positive reviews could doom the company and further worry investors.

The HTC One features a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 4.7-inch 1920x1080 pixel widescreen Super LCD 3 display, a 4-megapixel "Ultrapixel" camera with enhanced low-light sensitivity with 1080p HD video, up to 64GB of internal storage and runs Android 4.1.2.
