Walking Dead season three might be the best one yet, and it has been leading up to a very big confrontation between Rick's group and the Governor's army. With only two episodes to go in the season, things are about to get very intense, very quickly.

If you just can't wait to see more, member's of the show's cast and crew have spilled a few slightly spoilery details on what we can expect to see.

Departing showrunner Glen Mazzara told the Windsor Star that the ending will not be something we'll see coming. "Everyone's in play now, everyone's on stage, everybody has a stake in it and I think it'll be a very interesting, surprising ending for the fans," Mazzara stated. "I know it won't be what people will expect but I think hopefully it'll be emotionally satisfying."

Dallas Roberts, the actor who plays Milton, also gave a taste of what's to come in the finale, saying, " The Walking Dead fans will not feel cheated by the finale. It's not a soft close for sure. As [the season] starts to wrap up, it gets stronger, crazier and weirder. Although you'll never see it coming, when it cuts to black at the end of season three, there will be millions of mouths agape."

That's extremely intriguing, especially given this quote by Laurie Holden, the actress who plays Andrea:

"(Andrea is) walking on a tightrope, and it's very dangerous. I don't think anybody is safe on this show, to be honest. The only person who's really safe is Carl. I know that people don't want to hear that, but it's true. There's going to be more major deaths before the end of the season and no one is safe."

It's no secret that Andrea is currently the most unpopular main character on the show right now, especially with the departure of Rick's wife Lori. Could Holden be teasing the death of her character? Even if Andrea isn't the next to go, the fact that Carl is the only safe character is pretty interesting news for the finale. And definitely take note of her wording. She said "deaths," as in multiple characters.

The plot thickens even further, with Executive Producer David Alpert spilling this succinct, but very intriguing teaser.

"What happens to Andrea is not what anybody expects," he very simply states.

Who do you think is the next to go? We'll find out soon enough.
