Being a Latino in the U.S. can be daunting, exciting, trying, and well, it can be a lot of things. It's difficult when the people around you can't relate to who you are. It's difficult to express you cultural values in a place that doesn't necessarily cater to them. You have to adapt, but at the same time hold your roots close to your heart. So what better way to celebrate your heritage than by documenting what it means to be Latino living in the United States?

Now is your chance! Latinos Post is hosting its own 'Latinos in America Photo Contest' from now until March 30 at 11:59 p.m. Your assignment is to pick your best five photos that show what being a Latino in the U.S. means to you. Whether it's a photo of a celebration with friends, a family tradition or simply shots of your neighborhood, your submission will have a chance to grace our website.

Aside from having their photo published on our website and social media outlets, the winner will also have a full profile write-up to be posted alongside the photo. So get out there and start taking photos! Embracing and celebrating your heritage it what makes our cultural melting pot so inspiring and beautiful. Share it with the world!
